Meet the new smartwatch with a 41 megapixel camera

The Hyetis Crossbow, a newly-developed smartwatch, has a look more often associated with James Bond than the world of tomorrow. That said, this odd little duck has its feathers in a row where it counts — starting with that massive camera.
As well as what is hands-down the snazziest camera to grace the confines of a smartwatch, the Crossbow promises connectivity to Android, iOS and Windows Phone 8 devices. Messages, weather and email will all display on the face of the watch, along with whichever wireless connection you're using at a given time.

Smartphone connection options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. Charging of the smartwatch will be done through an included inductive charging pod and will likely need to be done every day or two. A nascent app store will soon provide further function and customization options. Hyetis is not yet accepting pre-orders, but when it does, be prepared to shell out quite a chunk of change for this peculiar device. To get your hands on one of the first Crossbow smartwatches to come into being, you'll have to shell out a hefty $1,200. You'd better start counting your pennies now.
